What is your most memorable event to date?
My most memorable event would be a recent event at 1111 Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. The sunset views were breathtaking and the event space is extremely unique. Guests enjoyed the architectural aspect of the event, as well as the scenic views, food, enhanced lighting and entertainment. Below are some images from this event!
What’s your favorite part about your job?
I love having the opportunity to show clients what Miami & Fort Lauderdale have to offer. We live in such a beautiful, culturally vibrant area, and most people have only seen just a glimpse of what this area is about. It’s great to share South Florida with people.
Any advice you would give to someone starting out in the special events industry?
Be flexible and willing to explore new event ideas with clients!
Favorite event venue?
1111 Lincoln Road, a raw parking structure that is used for events with 360 degree views of Miami Beach.
Best event entertainment you’ve ever seen?
If you didn’t work in the Special Events Industry, what would you do?
Pediatric Medicine. When I was growing up, I always wanted to be a doctor. Don’t ask me how I ended up in the event world :).
Where were you born and raised?
I was born in West Palm Beach Florida and lived there until I moved to Falls Church, VA when I was 12. I finished middle school and high school in Northern Virginia before heading back to Florida for college.
What’s your dream vacation?
I would love to go to Fiji or the Maldives. I am a huge fan of the beach and sunny weather so anywhere that I can get a Pina colada and enjoy the ocean would be perfect.
How do you spend your time outside of work?
I spend my time with my son Greyson who is almost a year(!), my husband Jon, and watching sports (mainly Gator football!).

Thanks for playing along with Kayla Branstiter last time! Did you guess her lie? She really is named after the ‘Home Run King’ Hank Aaron (how cool?!). She also WAS born the day before the Denver Broncos played in Super Bowl XXII, which explains a lot about her Bronco enthusiasm. Her lie? Though a Colorado native, she really doesn’t have a love for skiing!
