Charged with crafting an authentic Aussie adventure, our team seamlessly interwove indigenous cultural elements and
experiences with a keen focus on sustainability.
The overarching goal was to cultivate a profound bond with the land and its people with a personal touch. The Shangri-La's Backyard restaurant underwent a remarkable metamorphosis into a tropical haven, setting the stage for guests to relish a captivating Cairns evening, all while accompanied by the delightful Pavlova, the koala.
Amid the program, guests enjoyed distinct adventures including trips to Kuranda, Mossman Gorge, and Cape Tribulation. While in the Outer Great Barrier Reef's pristine waters, guests became immersed in vivid coral gardens, and rich marine fauna. Embracing our client's sustainability guidelines, diverse activities included talks on becoming Citizen Scientists to support the efforts of Citizens of the Reef.
On the final night, guests enjoyed a distinctive North Queensland experience on a working Sugar Cane Farm. Long dining tables in the machinery shed were adorned with beautiful Australian floral arrangements and candles. As the sun set over the cane fields, attendees savored a shared feast featuring local Australian cuisine followed by a spectacular fireworks display that ignited a lively night of dancing under the stars
