Working with the leading dementia research organization at its annual convention is always an honor for the CSI DMC team. Coming up with a "better than before" welcome reception with a predetermined budget for 4,000 people was undoubtedly an opportunity to stretch creatively! Add VIP dinners, an early morning fun run, the opening session "WOW" entertainment, and a pop-up party for 1,300 – arguably during San Diego's busiest convention year, and you get a multi-day marathon of collaboration at hand!
While 10,000 global researchers, students, and advocates connected over 400+ scientific research papers at the Convention Center, the CSI team worked on exceptional experiences for attendees to let off steam and network. Working with multiple vendors to assuage equipment shortages, CSI created a highly successful 'Cali-centric' event within budget, featuring live bands, a multitude of immersive activations, and regional décor elements. The fun run was another sold-out hit for 300 early risers, and the CSI team was there early to manage the setup and flow. A pop-up party for 1,300 people required some fast sourcing and design, and guests "Let it Glow" late into the night in a fun-filled finale! The client shared 'best year yet!' and the CSI DMC team is excited to work with them again!
