CSI DMC was tasked with creating an unforgettable event for a corporate franchise client - an event spanning the design, planning and delivery of a 'night to remember' for 6,000 guests at across six fully themed Smithsonian Museums. This was the first time such an event had been executed, and our local team was thrilled to get to work!
Mobilizing 45 transportation specialists, dispatchers, and greeters, we deployed 150 motorcoaches in waves to and from the Convention hotels to drop points on the National Mall, in addition to 22 trolleys between venues. We also worked closely with law enforcement and individual venue security to ensure that all protocols were followed, and contingency plans were in place. To create the Smithsonian experience, we worked closely with vendors and stakeholders to design themed décor, lighting, catering, entertainment, and staffing deployment.
Our client was overjoyed, the event was a huge success, and the first of its kind. Our local team loves a good 'first' and the commendation that underscores our relationships and expertise in producing logistically challenging, innovative programs in complex venues and destinations!
