A law firm wanted to incorporate San Antonio in an atypical, unique way. CSI DMC worked to creatively pull from textures, landscapes, colors, culture, people, and traditions to create a Big Bend-inspired glamping night and a casual street-styled "Fiesta" party for the closing event.
From vendors to staff, CSI DMC assembled a stellar team that focused on collaboration with the client's large events team to conceptualize and create a unique concept.
Despite the exceptional planning efforts, the weather was one thing that couldn't be controlled. Large installations had to be moved due to tornado and severe thunderstorms expected. With the torrential downpour of the first night, the driving range was too moist for there to be any weight on the surface the next night — which involved a large stage set and big décor pieces for their awards and new partner introductions. Overnight, a plan was developed, and we used all hours to figure out dimensions and craft new plans for both nights to activate all elements the client booked successfully.
